This iteration uses one side of the Newton Street site: starting from its public space by Chester Road, the program takes visitors on a journey through the building and landscaping to the canal. Its linear design uses different levels to create an interesting program for users to explore including spaces on stilts. This is a particular strength for a centre for chilldren as it creates an interesting play environment as well as landscaping potential.
